Deep fried chicken meat balls with a touch of cumin

Let's keep this simple:

1. Mix ground chicken, paprika, salt, sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, thinly diced onion, and cumin in a bowl.
2. Put tempura mix, baking flour, and garlic powder together in a separate bowl.
3. Pour some bread crumbs in another bowl.
4. Beat one egg in yet another bowl.

5. Roll up the ground chicken into a meat ball and dip it in the powder.  Then dip it in the egg to moisten the meat ball and then roll it in the bread crumbs.
6. Now fry the meat balls and enjoy.
I served my fried meat balls with curry over rice and some fried yams and potatoes.

What's for Breakfast?

Have you ever had eggs with soy sauce for breakfast?  My mom would always make this for me and my siblings when we were young.  It might sound weird but I’m telling you, it tastes really good.  It’s easy to make and I think you should try it.  Fry up some eggs (sunny side up) and toast a couple slices of bread.  On the eggs, drizzle some soy sauce and sprinkle some black pepper.  Now, dip the bread into the yolk and enjoy.

My take on "Beef and Broccoli "

INGREDIENTS:

2 cloves garlic
¾ TSP sugar
3 TSP soy sauce
½ TSP fish sauce
¼ black pepper
½ lbs meat (For this dish, I used tri-tip. The more money you spend, the better your meat.)
½ onion (small) sliced into wedges
½ TSP starch and 4 TSP of chicken broth mixed in a small bowl.
About 1 pound of broccoli
Chili paste (optional)

LET'S COOK:

1.  Mash garlic in a small bowl and add the following: sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, black pepper and chili paste.  Slice the meat and add it to the bowl.  Let the meat marinate for about 10 minutes.

2.  Boil the pound of broccoli in salt water (1 minute).  Don’t overcook it.

3.  Pour about 1 TSP cooking oil and the sliced onion into a wok or a large pan on high heat.  When the onion starts to brown, add the marinated meat and stir fry the ingredients until the meat is half-way cooked.  Then, add in the broccoli and stir for about a minute.  Lastly, add the mixture of starch and chicken broth to thicken the sauce (or oyster sauce).

4. Remember!!! It's all about improvising.

HAPPY EATING!!
